The Casa Carrillo TAA 2025 cigar marks the first TAA-exclusive release to carry the Casa Carrillo name following the company’s rebrand from E.P. Carrillo. Created exclusively for members of the Tobacconists’ Association of America (TAA), the cigar continues Ernesto Perez-Carrillo’s long tradition of producing special releases for the organization. Handmade in the Dominican Republic, this 6″ x 54 box-pressed toro was designed as a limited-edition showcase of richness, balance, and craftsmanship, with production capped at just 1,000 boxes of 10 cigars.
The blend features a U.S. Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over a Dominican binder, supported by fillers from Nicaragua and the US. According to Perez-Carrillo, the Broadleaf wrapper provides much of the cigar’s depth and richness, while the Dominican binder helps smooth and refine the overall profile.
