The Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust Deep Cuts Sampler brings together 11 of founder Steve Saka’s personal favorites, combining standout cigars from the company’s core, limited-production, and archived portfolios. Rather than serving as a basic introduction to DTT, the sampler dives deeper into the brand’s catalog with a varied collection of sizes, strengths, and blending styles. Production is limited to 5,000 samplers, making this an uncommon opportunity to explore several sought-after releases in one collection.
The sampler contains one each of the Umbagog Bronzeback, Mi Querida Black PapaSaka, Mi Querida Triqui Traca No. 648, Red Meat Lovers Fritanga, Muestra de Saka Nacatamale, Sobremesa Solita Red, Sobremesa Brûlée Blue, Todos Las Días Thick Lonsdale “Mas Fuerte,” Sin Compromiso Paladin de Saka, Mi Querida Black SakaKhan, and Sin Compromiso Word of Saka.
The rare Word of Saka is the centerpiece of the collection, introducing an elegant interpretation of Connecticut Broadleaf with experimental Estelí and Jalapa filler tobaccos grown during the 2022–2023 season. The sampler also marks another appearance of the stronger Todos Las Días Thick Lonsdale “Mas Fuerte,” alongside a broad range of profiles spanning sweet and creamy to dark, earthy, and full-bodied.
